It sounds like you're in a bit of a tricky situation, but don't worry, these things happen in the early stages of dating and aren't necessarily a sign of disinterest. It's great to hear that your first date went well and ended with a positive note like a kiss. This usually indicates mutual interest.

Here are a few things to consider:

  1. Give it Time: People have different communication styles and life commitments. It's only been a day since you sent the message. She might be busy, or maybe she prefers not to rush into frequent contact immediately after the first date. Patience is key here.

  2. Reflect on Your Message: Think about the content of the message you sent. Was it open-ended, giving her something to respond to? Did it express your interest in seeing her again? If your message was clear and inviting without being too forward, you've set the stage well.

  3. Follow-up Message: If you don't hear back in a couple of days, it's perfectly fine to send a casual follow-up message. Keep it light and friendly. For example, you could mention something you talked about on your date or suggest another outing. This shows you're still interested without putting too much pressure on her.

  4. Stay Positive and Respectful: If she responds, great! If not, it's important to respect her decision and not take it personally. Dating is about finding compatibility, and sometimes it just doesn't align, and that's okay.

  5. Keep Busy and Stay Open: Continue with your own activities and interests. Keeping busy not only distracts you from overthinking but also continues to build your own personal story, which is attractive.

Remember, early dating is often a dance of figuring out mutual interest and comfort levels. Every person and situation is unique, so stay true to yourself while being considerate of her pace and boundaries. Good luck!
