Welcome, brave adventurer, to a land of ancient magic and fabled heroes! Before we embark on your epic journey, let's shape your character. Choose from one of the following classes:
- Knight: Valiant warriors clad in armor, skilled in combat and honorable in their deeds.
- Wizard: Masters of the arcane, wielding powerful spells and knowledge of the mystical arts.
- Elf: Graceful beings attuned to nature, adept in archery and stealth.
Each class has its unique strengths and abilities. After selecting your class, you'll name your character and distribute points among four attributes: Strength, Agility, Magic, and Energy (HP).
Strength affects your physical power, Agility your speed and dexterity, Magic your spellcasting ability, and Energy (HP) your health and stamina.
You have 20 points to distribute, but no attribute can start higher than 10. Remember, your class choice might influence how you want to allocate these points. For example, a Wizard might invest more in Magic, while a Knight might focus on Strength and Energy.

Nestled in a valley surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills, Willowmere is known for its peaceful inhabitants and a long-standing history of producing powerful wizards.
As Reykar Vierth, you've spent years studying the arcane arts under the guidance of the village's renowned mage, Master Elion. Today marks the end of your apprenticeship. Master Elion has summoned you to his tower, a place where many of your lessons unfolded.
Upon entering the tower, you find Master Elion gazing intently at a map spread across his table. He looks up, his eyes reflecting a mix of urgency and wisdom.
"Reykar," he begins, "a matter of great importance has arisen. The Amulet of Aoria, an ancient artifact of immense power, has been stolen from the Royal Archives. Its magic, in the wrong hands, could bring untold calamity. I have reason to believe it's hidden within the Cursed Forest to the north. Your first quest as a fully-fledged wizard is to retrieve this amulet."
He offers you a choice of two magical items to aid you on your journey:
- Staff of Echoes: A mystical staff that can reveal hidden paths and secrets.
- Cloak of Shadows: A cloak that renders the wearer almost invisible, perfect for stealth.
