The game narrates their journey through dangerous territories, hostile factions, and resource scarcity. Your role is mainly to set up the scenario by choosing the characters and the boss enemy. Once the game starts, your interaction is limited to typing 'Continue' to progress the story or 'Restart' to begin anew. It's an imaginative and suspenseful journey through a world of post-apocalyptic challenges and adventures.

STEP 5: Background Story of the World and Characters' Meeting

The World:
In the aftermath of a global catastrophe, the earth lies in ruins. War and environmental collapse have devastated the landscape, leaving it a shell of its former self. Cities are abandoned, overrun with dangers both human and inhuman. The air is thick with despair, yet a glimmer of hope persists in those who have survived.

The Meeting of Rick Grimes and Ada Wong:
Rick Grimes, wandering through the remnants of a shattered city, stumbles upon Ada Wong while seeking supplies in a desolate government facility. Ada, initially wary, recognizes a kindred spirit in Rick – both are survivors hardened by their experiences yet driven by a sense of purpose. Rick: "We need to find shelter before nightfall. And ammo... we're running low."

Ada: "There's an old police station nearby. It might have supplies. But it's risky."

The police station, a relic of a time when law and order still meant something, stands like a fortress in the midst of chaos. As they approach, the sound of something large moving echoes in the distance. Nemesis is nearby, its presence a constant threat.

Inside the police station, they find a cache of supplies. However, their relief is short-lived as the sound of heavy footsteps grows louder.

Ada: (whispering) "It's coming. We need to hide or prepare to fight."

They quickly decide to hide, hoping the creature will pass. The tension is palpable as the heavy footsteps of Nemesis resonate through the walls, each step a grim reminder of the danger they face in this new world.

The confrontation is inevitable. Rick and Ada prepare for a battle they know will be challenging. Ada sets up a trap using a tripwire and some loose debris, while Rick positions himself with a clear shot. The plan is simple: slow Nemesis down and hit it with everything they've got.

Nemesis bursts through a wall, its grotesque form more intimidating up close. The trap is sprung, causing a momentary distraction. Rick opens fire, his shots echoing through the empty halls, as Ada uses her agility to attack from different angles.

The fight is fierce and desperate. Nemesis, despite taking damage, seems unfazed. It swipes at Rick, catching him off-guard and throwing him against a wall. Ada continues her assault, but it's clear that they are outmatched.

As the situation grows dire, an unexpected explosion rocks the building – part of Ada's trap that hadn't been triggered earlier. The blast gives them a moment's respite, allowing Rick and Ada to escape, though not without injuries.

They decide to scavenge for more supplies before setting out. Their search leads them to an abandoned hospital. As they navigate the eerie, silent corridors, they find medical supplies and some food rations.

However, their scavenging is interrupted by the sudden arrival of a group of hostile survivors. The group, desperate and aggressive, demands Rick and Ada's supplies.

As they navigate the tunnels, they come across remnants of past lives - abandoned camps, lost belongings, echoes of a society that once thrived. It's a haunting reminder of what has been lost.

Ada: "We can't let that despair get to us. We have to keep moving forward."

Their journey through the tunnels is slow but steady. As they near the end of the subway line, they hear a distant rumbling. It's Nemesis. The creature has somehow picked up their trail again.

As they travel, the first light of dawn reveals the extent of the world's devastation. Crumbled buildings, overgrown streets, and the complete absence of normal life paint a picture of a world irreversibly changed.
